- The first one is it is rich in omega 3 fatty acid content. The primary omega 3 fatty acid is alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). It is stable at oven temperature. That's why flaxseeds are added in the bakery products. The ALA can be helpful in cardiovascular system. They also control the blood vessels from inflammatory damage.
